The Histoy of
Latchingdon Arts and Drama Society (L.A.D.S)
Latchingdon Arts and Drama Society (LADS) was formed in late 1957. It was the dream of local Latchingdon Councillor, John Glassborow, who later became a President of the Society.

The Latchingdon Village Hall was built in 1955 and served as the venue for many LADS productions over the year. The very first play, "The Good Young Man", produced by Peter Jones, was performed from January 23rd to 25th 1958 and the Society has been going strong ever since.

In February 1998, LADS moved to its new home at the Tractor Shed which is located on Peter Jones' farm. It is still used as storage for old tractors but also provides a spacious and unique setting for 3 or 4 LADS productions each year.
